Breakdown Valentine Releases New Album and Plays Release Party at Rickshaw Shop TONIGHT! - 9/26

The talented, female fronted - psychedelic, shoegaze experimental rock band, Breakdown Valentine is releasing their new EP, Beautiful Distraction today. We're really into what Olivia Barchard is doing with her new music project (with guitarist Allen Davis and new drummer Andres Lopez), and we completely implore you to check out the band's album release event at Rickshaw Shop TONIGHT. Supporting bands, Flaamingos and I Am Animal will bring a heady and sensual atmosphere to the night's celebratory event.

Breakdown Valentine is a great sounding, succinctly beautiful, heavy live band. Their use of reverb and washed out guitar tones and synths along with live drums makes for a thick and sexy sonic experience. Barchard's voice is elegant and professional. Make sure you make it out to the Rickshaw Shop to support this new and hardworking local band. -jordannah elizabeth
