Los Angeles' DreamGaze Festival lineup and location announced

The Dreamgaze Festival is back, and this time it's happening at Los Globos.

Presented in tandem with DKFM, Dream Wave, Counter Culture, and KXLU, Dreamgaze Festival will feature bands of Los Angeles' alternative youth scene, including the post-rock quartet Young Lovers, coldwave/post-industrial group Cruelty Code, bi-coastal duo Ablebody, and dreamgazing band Cre·scen·do. The festival will also be graced by Florida's indie/electronic producer Millionyoung, Arizona's lo-fi shoegazers Shallow, San Francisco's dreamy power trio Balms, and more.

Presale tickets are available on the DreamGaze site, and a limited quantity will be sold at Origami Vinyl. More acts will be announced in the coming weeks, so this is looking to be a thoroughly packed show — don't wait up. The DreamGaze Festival's last iteration was held near Ontario and featured bands like Tennis System, SHEER, and the Italian dreampop Be Forest. Its organizer, Gregory Cole, is the guitarist/singer for Cre·scen·do and promoter of underground music events. - Ryan Mo

Night School Cre·scen·do dot Vom and Glowy Play The Night Light - 10/27

Oakland based Doo-wop garage rock band, Night School  (Graveface Records) will be headlining a strong line up at The Night Light tomorrow night. San Francisco based dream punk band, dot Vom, noise dream pop band, Glowy and Los Angeles based sun-dreched pop rock band, Cre·scen·do will be performing as well.

If you're into dream-centric melody driven music, you should make your way to this show. All of the bands are unique variations of west coast post modern pop music. We think you'll enjoy this show. It will surely be a dance party that will induce a light hearted vibe for everyone in attendance.

Slowness Cre·scen·do and Big Surr Play Neck of the Woods - 10/24

Counter Culture Artist Management Presents: San Francisco based authentic shoegaze band, Slowness will be playing Neck of the Woods on Friday, October 24th. The bill is rounded out by the washed out, etherial local band, Big Surr and the Los Angeles based Cali pop band, Cre·scen·do.

If you're into reverbed, psyched out post modern bands you'll enjoy this show. Big Surr will reflect a more youthful sound compared to the polished and seasoned gazey style of Slowness and Cre·scen·do will play an upbeat tempo driven style of pop rock to make the night reasonably eclectic.

We recommend you make it out to this show. The music will be good and you'll be near the beach. Sounds like a good way to spend a Friday night to us.
