Petejota's Final Release

San Francisco based, underground garage rock music project, Petejota is coming to an end. This short lived but mighty musical facet was created solely from the mind and artistic fervor of Hernando Buitrago. Buitrago is also a member of the more contemporary experimental indie band, Magic Fight who has been winning attention around the Bay Area in their own right.

With all that said Petejota has left us with a final piece of music entitled, Burnouts/LetsTakeItSlowThen Single via sound cloud. Make sure you give it a listen and wish Buitrago the best on future projects, and his work with Magic Fight. -Jordannah Elizabeth

Congratulations to Petejota for Winning The Deli SF Artist of The Month

We want to give sincere congratulations to SF based experimental band, Petejota for winning The Deli Magazine San Francisco's Artist of the Month! Petejota is a true favorite of The Deli SF's for their gritty and unpredictable underground electronic sound. This music project virtually came out of nowhere and took down the competition, even though they are the newest band on the scene. We really appreciate the hard work and participation from all the bands, but Petejota has shown that they're new and growing following has a lot of love for them.

We highly recommend that you check out Petejota's music, and make sure you catch his live performances in the Bay Area!

Petejota Releases Debut EP - Hunting for Pleasure

San Francisco based experimental garage rock band, Petejota has released their debut EP, Hunting for Pleasure. This band's music is unqiuely interesting and almost embodies math rock components due to their experimental and strangly syncopated music. This fuzzed out Bay Area music project can also fall in sync with SF's psych rock scene as the music is touched with reverb and a bit of passion. Give Hunting for Pleasure a listen if you're looking to hear music that's abstract and creative.
