Strange Lovelies "You Could Live or You Could Die"

Strange Lovelies recently released their latest album, You Could Live or You Could Die. The band also released a video for the album's opening track ""Black Leaves".

This is the work of Michael Slovenkay (Vocals/Guitar), Christopher Bartone (Guitar), Jim Drake (Bass/Piano/Backing Vocals), and Jonny Drake (Drums/Organ/Backing Vocals).

Así Así "Carne Molida"

Así Así has released their latest single "Carne Molida". This the trio's second single this year following "Lentamente (Versión Chicago)" which was released last month.

The band formed ten years ago in Mexico City as El Mañana and released two albums. Since 2013, Fernando de Buen (guitar and vocals), Ben Geissel (drums), and Celeen Rusk (keyboards) have called Chicago home and are now releasing their first new music since 2014's Muertos.

Violet Meridian "Shedding Skin"

Violet Meridian has released their debut EP called "Shedding Skin". This is the new project from singer/songwriter/artist Nicole Kelly who is joined by Austen Goebel (Bass), and Collin Wittlich (Drums).

Pleasantries "Tiny Heart's Core"

Pleasantries have released their latest album, Tiny Heart's Core, and several of very cool animiated videos. The first video for the album's lead single, "Satanic Preparation", was released back October. The latest video was released latest week and is for the track "Honey, I'm Home".

The videos and the songwriting for Pleasantries is done by Andy Markantonatos. He is joined by Campbell Markantonatos, Thomas Souden, and Sam Ayers to round out the band.

Maurice "Steamed Brocoli"

Expiremental Rock group Maurice has released the second single, "Steamed Brocoli", from their forthcoming EP. This song, just as the first single, "Quarantine Single #1", was record remotely pushing the group sound in an unintended new direction.

Maurice is the work of David Grant (Electric Piano, Clavinet), Moses Aguilar (Guitar), Kevin Meyer (Bass), Corey McCafferty (Drums, Synthesizer), James Davis (trumpet, flugelhorn), and Jonathon Kirk (trombone, euphonium).
